Even if it doesn't rain, I doubt you will find Ames to be dry.

No fees if you go directly to the ticket office. Bought one earlier today and it was $20. I believe its around $25 if you buy online with the fees.

This is what I thought, $5 is sadly a decent chunk of money to me at this point (hooray for being a poor college student) so I'll make it a point to get there in the AM tomorrow. Thanks!

Are those tickets horrible? Can you see anything? Would sitting there totally make the 14 hour round trip not worth it?
Those aren't likely to sell out, are they? Am I likely going to be able to waltz up to the ticket office on Saturday and buy them?
Thanks, and I look forward to a fun and hopefully injury free day of Big 12 football! We're not your friends, buddy.....

Have any of you tried to buy a hillside ticket to a game on gameday and been rejected? I really think that hillside tickets will be available coming close to kickoff.

Side note: I just realized that I've been to every Farmageddon except 1 (05) since 2001. Seems crazy.
On second thought, I just talked it over with my group and I think we're going to try scalping. If you are going to road trip that far, treat yourself and scalp the tickets like you say.

Although this is coming from a guy who checked a washers game to his flight to Dallas last weekend....

Buying a ticket from a scalper is a lot like playing chicken from my experiences. Theres a point in time where they will break and sell the ticket for near face value, you just might miss 10 minutes of the game.

I've ended up at a couple games practically by accident.
