Clones win 31-27.
You'd think with these guys being from EMAW these guys would be good trollers...boy was I wrong.
KSU-28
ISU-17
and no, I'm not a troll, but I think we fall short in this one.
KSU 24-12, miss an extra point and go for 2 late in the game...
ISU - 33
Asshats - 26
Me too. I was in the ISU section. The walk out at halftime was not pleasant. Nor was having children throw trash at me and my dad while trying to watch the game.
This will be a sloppy, rainy, defensive battle that just doesn't turn out in the Clones favor. Collin Klein makes me nervous...he doesn't make mistakes. We however, make just one too many against the Kitties again.
KSU-17
ISU-10
I really don't think anyone is trolling in this thread, guys.
i just had something pop in my head. I dont think any heisman nominees have played well in ames for a long time. Which doesnt bode well for klein. Examples i just looked up
Oklahoma State 2011 :Brandon Weeden (We won 37-31)
-Did complete 72% of passes for 470 some yards. But had 3 Huge interceptions. Also the 470 yards isnt too bad considering barnett threw really well that night too (376 yards) This game put him out of heisman contention when he was originally in the top 3 atleast.
Oklahoma 2007: Sam Bradford (Lost 17 - 7)
- I dont think he was a finalist for the heisman in 2007 but he did throw for over 3000 yards and 36 touchdowns. But against ISU in ames he only threw for 183 yards, was 16 of 28. 0 TD's and 1 int. He was also sacked 3 times
Iowa 2005: Drew Tate (Won 23-3)
- I think he was hyped up that year as a heisman candidate but he was awful against iowa state this year (did get hurt) he finished 5 of 11 with 1 int
Oklahoma 2003: Jason White (Lost 7 to 53)
- He murdered us. so this doesnt count. 5td passes and god knows what else
I didnt bother to go back further then that. I dont know if there are any other examples of heisman guys playing in ames that struggled. But i just thought it was just some interesting food for thought. Go cyclones this weekend and i hope that when the game's over, The whole country will know that iowa state has the best "Klein" in the big 12
I simply don't know what to expect from this game. K-State traveled to Norman and walked out of there with a W, so I don't think they will be bothered by a pumped up Jack Trice Stadium crowd.
I just have a feeling the offense needs to score in the high 30's in order for a Cyclone victory. No one has been able to do that yet. Yeah, I know North Texas put up 21 on them.
I will say if ISU can knock these guys off, then I say it bodes well for an 8-4 or better season.

oh my ubbenQuote:
No. 6 Kansas State 21, Iowa State 20: Another year, another nailbiter. Kansas State has made a living by winning these games the past couple of years, and you can make it 10-1 in the Wildcats' past 11 games decided by one possession. Collin Klein needs a few first downs to ice the game late, and he gets them. This one will be plenty physical, but I couldn't bring myself to pick the Cyclones, who'll put up a good fight but come up just short at home.
