4 of the 5 Big XII games are on there as well. That isn't surprising though given that Fox and the Big 12 are partners
We should be 4. 1-3 are pretty good matchups but I'm not that excited for any of them.
Kinda wish ND had one more win under their belt so their fans could think they are back and legit NC contenders before Stanford beats them again. The tears will be flowing in South Bend Saturday...but I kind of hope ND pulls it out. It will be a closer game for ND than when they go to Norman (and yes what a great spot to play OU the week after they blow out ND especially if ND does somehow manage to be undefeated going into that weekend.)
I bet if you did the FB demographics, the games are ranked based on that. It sure looks that way, doesn't it?
Omaha sports radio has a local ticket broker on every Wednesday who goes over all the big ticket prices for the weekend nationally. He specifically mentioned KSU-ISU with prices on the secondary market well over $100. Higher than what you could get a ticket for the Red River Rivalry game if you can believe it.
I honestly think its a case of them just playing well against equal competition and Kelly pushing the right buttons.
Kelly was able to get his Cincy teams off to similar starts a couple times.
Stanford are very tough in the trenches, if they win those battles and shut down Taylor I'll be impressed. But I see a loss this week and a complete blowout in Norman coming for them.
I am hoping BYU goes into South Bend and knocks em off too since I have a softspot for BYU! Shame their kicker is a bigger stiff than Arceo (if possible) costing them UU and Bronco went for 2 against Boise cause of him!
I do think Nunes is pretty bad though and when he beat out Nottingham in camp I predicted he'd cost Stanford a couple close ones (though he stepped up most definitely against USC) this could be one of those losses but I think he'll play well enough for Stanford to win.
We're keeping track of what our game is ranked now by fox sports southwest? What does fox sports ohio have us at?
This absolutely would have been the case if the weather report for Saturday was sunny. And if it was also a later kickoff than 11am you would have lots of fans in purple competing for tix too. But with the weather forcast being bad tickets will stay near the 70 bucks they'd cost from the TO.
