Bill Snyder on Petros and Money Show
Good interview talked a lot about the rivalry and weird things that has happened when they played in Ames. " I remember one time we (ksu) were ahead and a streaker ran across the field and our men lost their composer and we ended up losing that game".
can anyone confirm this?

Here's video of it from the AD's "Cyclone Classics". (They disable embedding their videos)

More important question - who's willing to sacrifice a little dignity for the team and bare their arse to the wind this weekend?

Good question. If it meant getting a win against these guys I'd be tempted to do it......really tempted.
Re: Bill Snyder on Petros and Money Show
We had several streakers in the early 90's. Used to be the highlight of the games.
Re: Bill Snyder on Petros and Money Show
The game in 1999 was a bummer. Up 21-0 at halftime and lost 35-28.

Indeed. I remember that well.

The uncalled and obvious illegal block in the back on that punt return absolutely reversed the momentum of that game to the point where you knew it was over after that.

Back in 1993 you would probably be slapped with a citation and be on your way. Today, you're a sex offender.
Re: Bill Snyder on Petros and Money Show
1993 was a blur. Freshman. 1994 was memorable as the year we won zero games and then the TD and DMac era began.

That's the way it always went down. One play would kill the momentum and the game was visibly over.

I remember being smashed in the parking lot at that game. There may or may not have been several couches set ablaze.

The cops walked that kid as slowly as possible out the south end and up the ramp to the gate. That was probably punishment enough, given how cold it was.
