Re: 11:00 AM Kickoff
This could get interesting
a. There is a post on a KSU board that ISU/KSU/NCAA and B12 are meeting about what to do. Conccerned they cannot get the game started or finished. (And even beyond that having 50,000 plus out if the stronger weather hits.)
b. This backs up what I heard this morning that yesterday the NWS told ISU to either have an evaculation evacuation plan ready, or request/consider cancelling the game.
It will be fluid at the very least.

Would they just keep delaying kickoff to later that night or would the game be postponed to a Sunday game? I don't think I've ever really heard of a college game being postponed. I believe the Tulsa @ OK State game last season ended at 3 AM due to delays all day.
The campaign starts now. November 6, 2012. -

It will be fluid at the very least. That sounds completely, 100% BS to me.
There will be plenty of time to get the game in. Worst case scenario (short of tornado devastating Ames) wouldn't really push things back much later than a standard prime-time game.

Who knows, they are just rumblings, but coming from 2 different sources and I can be pretty confident on one of them.

It will be fluid at the very least. I highly doubt the NWS has the power to bark out demands like that.

I'll never understand people who think that tailgating has to be solely a pre-game activity. I'm sure some of the same folks complain about the post game traffic. I never have to wait when I leave the lots because nearly everyone is gone.

Perhaps, incorrect choice of words, request, ask, be ready to, etc..
Cannot change quotes, but I have restated as probably how I would guess.

Re: 11:00 AM Kickoff
There's always an evacuation plan....they used it in 2005.
I love message board fear mongering.

Still showing the same general idea, though I believe there will be a slightly more pronounced break than what is shown there.

Re: 11:00 AM Kickoff
Regarding what I posted from our model...
I am fairly comfortable with that story, although the break may not be quite as dead quiet from 11AM to 2, but should definitely be much better during the game than before and perhaps after, though greatest afternoon severe threat may be east of I35.
