No, the NFL will conflict with us.

Ironically, there might be a better chance that the Iowa game in East Lansing is the one that actually is played in a downpour and/or lightning delayed.

Sometimes I wonder about Reed...

Probably some pretty soggy tailgating, rain stopping (or at least tailing off to light showers/drizzle) near the start of the game. 2nd round (which would contain any of the major severe weather) likely would not start until after the game, and Ames would likely be on the far western edge of that target zone.
So you think the drive back to Cedar Rapids might be interesting?
Re: Severe Weather: Potential of moving game to Sunday or December
Looking like the storm might clear off by game time now, system is weaker and further south.

It's possible, especially if the sun is able to solidly break out.
I would say the greatest risk Sat PM would be roughly east of 35 and south of 80. It could go as far north as hwy 20, but SE Iowa back into Missouri is probably the best bet.

Agreed, and tornado chances are very very slim and actually stupid to be talking about now... based on the models I look at.
Also -- there have only been 27 Tornadoes in Iowa in October since 1950

Agreed. How do you think Kansas State became so good at football? They were overdue also!
Re: Severe Weather: Potential of moving game to Sunday or December
So basically it looks like the game will have some rain, but nothing major?

Just imagine what the opposing fanbase is going through. They want sit on the upper deck to avoid the flood or mud puddles on the ground, but they have a higher probably of being struck by lightning because of their saltiness and metal underwear.
