30% pass completion rate...
Just absolutely horrible day for Barnett. He pooped his bed on that miss to Shontrel late in the 4th. Such a easy play that could have kept the drive going.

Re: 30% pass completion rate...
Klein made plays for KSU in the second half and JB stunk up the joint. That was the difference. We're not going to get past being a 6-7 win team without better QB play.
KSU had something to do with that, but there are just way too many poor plays from the QB. Same crap, different day.
Grudgingly tip my hat to the Ol' Bastard and the Wildcats. You won't see many teams that are better coached than that.

Re: 30% pass completion rate...
Most of that is on Barnett, but our WR's certainly aren't up to B12 standards either. We've got a ways to go before we'll break out of the 6-7 win range in this conference.

Re: 30% pass completion rate...
Not to make an excuse, but I do really think that Barnett was affected by the big hits he took (especially the late hit that he was crushed on). The rest of the game to me he seemed to just be trying to get rid of the ball when on several occassions he could have set and thrown. Plus you could tell late that he really didn't want to scramble around. The pass protection really was not bad, but Barnett is really not the tough hold onto it until the last second kind of guy and the receivers are not getting enough separation to throw quickly. I don't think it is time to pull the plug on Barnett, but I can see why he lost the starting job.

We played the last two possessions like we were behind by 4 touchdowns, not like a TD wins us the game. Barnett looked like he just quit on the last possession.

Came to giggle. What an idiot. You're just as bad as Barnett. Richardson time.
