    Starting to feel better

Was feeling pretty down on another close loss to emaw. But seeing tech take wvu to the shed makes me feel even better about our D.

While Jared had a poor game, I put the last two series on mess. Manage the down and distance with a few minutes left. And if you're going to telegraph your intentions to pass, put in the qb with a completion rate twice as high as JB. Who cares about a potential TO at that point.

I usually wouldn't support this, but maybe we should go situational at qb...

TT and WVU have good QB's. We don't.

TT also has a good defense. They're shutting WVU down right now. ISU also has a good defense. Because ISU's QB play isn't great, I wouldn't expect to see a 28-7 score in the second quarter. But I wouldn't be shocked if ISU give WVU all they can handle.

Nicely stated. I'm happy with our play. KSU was good, but we should have won. Mess is showing his experience level, as is JB and the rest of the team. Defense played well, and I think they do really well next week and against 3-4 other teams to come. OU will be tough, but I think we play well outside of them. Mess and the O will work this out. I'm proud of the Cyclones! Disappointed, but proud.

To be fair, he learned that from OSU's OC.

I'm not, so tired of losing to KSU. Watching their offense is so frustrating. Can't wait til Klein is gone.

    Re: Starting to feel better

Kstate was better than us. All of those 3rd down conversions were a sign of a really good team. Our defense is still legit, but they were on the field all day. In my opinion, Barnett is still the best QB we have and he did some nice things today, but the pressure got to him late in the game. The missed pass to Johnson was the most crucial to me because it was wide open for 15+ yards. I'm not too upset about today, we had our chance, but in the end we got beat by a better team. It sucks, but we will move on and we will some more games. I'm confident in that.
