Refs today

We're they really that bad, or am I just being biased. I thought we got hosed on a few of them. But you know us Cyclones, we like to share our opinions about the zebras during the game

They weren't the best, but I think they were pretty equally bad for both sides. Made a few questionable calls though.

Standard Big 12 reffing job. They missed some calls. Nothing too horrible.

The targeting call was a joke. The only call that made me mad.

I was more upset with the 4 offsides we committed than anything else. Three alone by McDonough, and two in a row. And he's not even a DE, he's right over the ball.

I agree, that was clean. I also think that horse collar was the right call. And McDonough was offsides three times, I mean the center had to be doing something to throw him off 3 times

Ya that call was bs. Otherwise they were not great but it wasn't because of them we lost.

The horsecollar on George, while technically correct, was weak. It looked to me like he grabbed mostly jersey, and he didn't use it to pull him down from behind. But at game speed I can understand the call being made.

I wa pretty ticked off. It was bad. No doubt it was really bad toward ISU though.

It could of gone either way I think, to me the horsecollar was designed to keep players from coming from behind and ripping a player backwards, and that play was head on so I was indecisive on what the right call was

Refs pretty bad which I thought benefited KSU until the PI call. That call allowed Isu to stay in the game.

What's your point with that? Comparing their previous games to today is as valid as claiming that the refs are bad due to the number of penalties called against us/them today.

There was a late hit on Barnett early in the 3rd Q, I think, that could have been called.

Anyone back up their DVR to see if Brown was offside late? Live it sure looked like he was. The way late hit on Barnett was missed. The targeting call was bad. Other than that, I guess it was fine. Didn't win or lose based on that.
