Same as yesterday's game.

Just thought of another positive about this game time... I am so sick of the Hawks after yesterday's game that I'm glad I can watch every second of Penn State's road victory at Kinnick on Saturday night.
ISU - OSU at 11:00
Tech - TCU and South Carolina - Florida at 2:30
Penn State - Iowa at 7:00
FX typically is a movie and sitcom channel. Plays blockbuster movies with about a million commercials crammed in. Also home to some pretty good shows: Archer, Justified, Always Sunny, ect. The move to showing sports there is fairly recent(believe last year was the first for football?).
Probably not going to be able to catch this one. Bummer. Still, glad for the team for exposure and all that.
Grrrrrr. On a flight from Brussels. Was hoping for an afternoon game so I could watch it during a layover. Oh well, took my best shot with this flight, but it didn't work out.
Nice to be on national tv again, lets go Cyclones!!
You think so, huh? Well don't you know by now how things go for those guys - meaning Iowa? First they are playing a lack luster PSU team: Lost to Ohio U. and Virginia (2-5), then beat four lame teams: Navy, Temple, Ill.,and NW. The game is a night game where the crowd will be all pumped and they will do one of those black and gold thingees alternating sections in black and gold dress. Lame PSU will step on their collective D***s time and time again because they just aren't very good, and Iowa will throttle them something like 35-10. Then Zabel will proclaim them as one of the best teams since Evy, and predict that iowa will "win" out and go on to further glory, again, - just like Evy.
Then Iowa will continue on with their 5 game winning streak against mediocre to poor B-10 teams, namely NW, (the best of the bunch), Indy, and Purdue to go 8-2 and 6-0. Finally they could lose out to MU and Nebbie, but given their luck, I wouldn't be surprised that they win over one of those two, probably Nebbie at home via some double OT fluke.
So there you have it 8-4 0r 9-3 and 7-1 0r 6-2 in the B10, and on to a warm weather bowl in Florida, California, or Arizona, especially because PSU and OSU are bowl ineligible It is called: Reaping the benefits from playing in a hosed up conference. Great work if you can get it, and year after year Iowa gets it. But then again I may be full of crap and all of the above goes for nought. I sure hope so on both counts - the crow would taste soooooo good!
And the world and stomach continues to turn.:skeptical:
Is it me or does ISU play better at night under CPR?
...and actually, would FAR rather have one of the better ABC TV slots for better exposure.
