Yeah if those are the only two games you saw, I could see why you think that. At Arizona our WR's had 8 drops (two were TD's) and were responsible for two of Lunt's interceptions. We had something like 15 penalties for 167yds in that game too. Yesterdays game was played in the rain and thunderstorms. Walsh doesnt have the greatest arm and couple that with a wet ball and it was going to be a one deminsional game and it was. Our playbook is very limited with Walsh at QB.

Just curious, but who do you think TCU will beat in conference to get to 5 wins? They have already beat KU and Baylor and lost at home to us. That is a tough remaining conference schedule

I like TCU's defense...minus those two big TD's by Lenz, ISU was very limited by them. I think they will do OK against teams with no defense (@OSU, @WV, @Texas) and should be able to hang with teams at home (TT, OSU, KSU). I gave them a split in their remaining schedule, but 4-5 wouldn't surprise me.

A lot of the conference looks better than Texas at this point.

Texas beat them in Stillwater, so I would disagree. IMO, there is a large talent gap in the defenses of OU/KSU/ISU/TT/TCU and KU/OSU/Texas/WV/Baylor. When the teams in the bottom half defensively play each other, they are going to put on an offensive show. When they meet teams in the top half, you are going to have games like you had this weekend.

Do you really think that OSU will not win another game? The nice thing about this season is that anything can happen... it will be an exciting year. I just want the excitement of getting to 6 wins over with!

If ISU gets them this weekend, they could go in a free for all, IMO. They have ISU, TCU, @KSU, WV, Tech, @OU, Baylor. For the life of me, I can not get that Arizona game out of my head. I think the recipe to beat them is out there based of the Arizona game and the Kansas game, and any good coaching staff can put together a game plan to take them down. If they dont beat ISU, I think the only other game they may be favored in will be Baylor, which will be a battle of two teams without much defense. I think Baylor can win just about any game that becomes shootout.

Chuck, I think the words you are looking for are: "Free fall." That describes a fall off the cliff.

"Free for all" is a panic where a mass of people suddenly go apeshit.

In Chuck's defense the latter would probably closely follow the former. Shop owners in Stillwater would be wise to invest in some security measures for the rioting and looting that would go on if their team did fold.

No. I am as well, as everybody seems to be assuming its a gimme. And KU knows that it'll likely be their last chance for a W. They played KSU really well.

i would probably take this, who you got for our 3 wins Dual, KU Baylor, and ???...wonder if it played out like this if we would get 2 in the BCS, I think it would OU finishing 2nd is our best chance I think...
