You have an excuse for everything, don't ya. Just an FYI for you, this season will be nothing like last season for OSU. The only thing I see being the same as last year are the teams you lose to.

Are you stupid? What part of the above statement looks like an excuse? The poster said there was a recipe for our loss to Zona. The reason we lost was because of the penalties and putting their offense on our side of the field, tiring out our defense and drops by our WR's. That is not an excuse, those are REASONS for the loss.

Don't think OSU goes 1-8 in conference, but do think we beat them on Saturday. I'd predict that OSU wins 3 (KU, BU, maybe one more - TCU or an upset) and finishes 5-7 (3-6).

Do not wanna go back to the Pinstripe Bowl. I enjoyed it last year, but I'd like somewhere different (and warm).

Absolutely not! Every conference game worries me. The nice thing is the non-conference games aren't near as bad as they use to be. I use to get all worked up about them. Now not so much.

Regardless of the reason you think you lost to Arizona, it does not excuse giving up 59 points. You claim to have an awesome defense, yet you gave up 59 to Zona and 41 to UT. ISU has faced 4 teams with better defenses then OSU, and OSU has yet to face a defense anywhere close to what you will see on Saturday. The recipe is there, ISU will take advantage.

i would probably take this, who you got for our 3 wins Dual, KU Baylor, and ???...wonder if it played out like this if we would get 2 in the BCS, I think it would OU finishing 2nd is our best chance I think...

i predicted preseason that we'd be 7-4 before the WVU game. I think that is setting up nicely to fall into place.

FBS teams ISU has played this season in total defense:

Tulsa- 55
Iowa- 19
Tech- 4
TCU- 15
KSU -31

So if OSU is the 2nd best D ISU will see this season, that would put OSU somewhere between the 4th and 15th best D in the FBS. That would be a good defense, IMO.

However, OSU is ranked 49th in total defense in the FBS, which would mean ISU has played 4 teams with better defenses then OSU.

For what its worth, ISU has the 33nd best total D in the FBS, and the teams OSU has played so far are no where near that number. (Zona#110, LL#71, UT#99, KU#91) So its safe to say OSU has yet to see a defense like this, and ISU has seen better defenses.

Total offense is a completely different story. OSU is #1, but again, they have not played a defense worth a ****. I believe Tech was also #1 when they went into their game with ISU, and they only scored 24.
