Obviously Iowa State dropped out, but still received votes and is essentially ranked #35.

Big 12 teams:

Kansas State #3
Oklahoma #7
West Virginia #15
Texas Tech #20
TCU #21
Texas RV (#28)
Oklahoma State RV (#33)
Iowa State RV (#35)

Baylor and Kansas are the only schools in the conference to not receive votes.

Big 10 manages to sneak one in right at the end with #25 Michigan.

Interesting to see that K-State may be in the driver's seat to be in the national championship game if Oregon loses somewhere along the way.

Kind of the same thing I was thinking; if Oregon does lose while K-State and Notre Dame both go 12-0, I wonder who would be the team to go to the championship and take on the SEC flagbearer.

Don't see that happening. Voters won't move Oregon from that #2 slot downward if they don't lose, and the human polls make up 2/3rds of the BCS. Oregon, Alabama, and Florida are the three teams that are 100% without a doubt in control of their own destiny for the national championship.

KSU, due to name alone, will lose out (read..polls would be fixed) if ND or Oregon is undefeated along with KSU. I do think KSU would win out over Florida because of the "outrage" of two SEC teams last year.

Actually, an undefeated Florida and undefeated Alabama is not possible due to one of them has to lose in the SEC championship.

So it really would be KSU vs ND vs Oregon vs Alabama. KSU finishes 4th in that race.

Oregon won't go undefeated and neither will notre dame. ND won't win @OU. Oregon won't beat USC twice.

K state might run the table, but won't be surprised to see them lose once. @WVU perhaps.

Really think Tech and TCU are scarier for KSU just because both those teams play a little D and WVU does not.
