Was reading a article on him and the obscene numbers he is putting up as a red shirt fresh, and it showed ISU as a team that he was interested in. Wow that would have been interesting.

I think he was a lot closer to being a Duck than a Cyclone.

On a semi-related note I'm pretty sure that we were really close to getting current OSU QB J.W. Walsh out of HS

So either Lunt or Walsh will be riding the pine for 4 years. One will likely transfer.

A+M would be a good place to look for our QB. THey had another top 10 recruit other than Manziel who obviously isn't playing. Then Jamal Showers who people thought would start against Florida. AND...they have one more quarterback.

The 4th A+M QB is actually the TWIN brother of the Offensive Linemane Joeckel...the O-Lineman that happens to be better than their other stud O Lineman Jake MATTHEWS (that name should ring a bell with anyone familiar with o-line and Joekel is better than him.)

So 3 nice options to upgrade JB. Joeckel is a reshirt Soph maybe he can graduate and transfer. Probably would look just like Collin Klien.

i am wondering if lanning or hodge will move to another position. if not, then we will have 5 scholarship QBs. i think the coaches usually try to keep it at 4, or so it seems anyways. i honestly could care less who is our QB next year as long as they can win games

Who cares? I'm pumped for the future with Richardson and Rohach. Not to mention the often-forgotten QB with 8 starts under his belt already, and 2 more years of eligibility left after this one.
