Really, do you constantly have to be that guy? If Barnett as a junior next year starts that probably means that he beat out the younger guys behind him and then it is probably a good thing that he is still around. If he gets beat out by one of the younger guys then it will probably be a good thing that there is an upper classmen QB around with Big 12 experience that can help tutor the younger guys on some parts of the game. He might also be useful for depth if the injury bug pokes up it's nasty head.
Enough derailing the thread. I'm pretty sure this is about the LB position.

Fine then no, I think we have enough linebackers that have been in the defense a while that they can come in a play pretty well. Other positions are more of a worry to me, specifically regarding the position that throws the ball.

LB should be a concern, if only from a depth standpoint. The only negative thing about Knott and Klein holding down their spots for the last 3 years is that basically no one else has seen the field, other than George. The good thing is that the strength of our coaching staff under CPR has been the defense, our defense has been better than expected each year under CPR. I'm concerned but its not fair to expect anyone to replace AJ and Jake, just because the next guys in aren't as good as those two doesn't mean they can't be solid big 12 LB's or that we can't have a good defense.
The only bigger turnoff than finding out a woman smokes, is finding out she's a Husker fan.
