Re: Leonard Johnson
I don't ever see the Bucs here but does anyone know if he is getting some PT?

Re: Leonard Johnson
The game this past weekend was on KCCI, but I didn't watch it, so not sure how many snaps he saw. He was credited with a Pass Defended, so he must have played. With Talib suspended, there should be more PT up for grabs.
Hopefully he is learning a lot from Ronde Barber - could be a good situation for LJ.
On a different note, KO is playing very well from what I can see. Saw him assigned to Demarcus Ware with no help a few times this past weekend, and he held his own.

And with Niang in the middle kind of wheeling and all those guys spreading you out, they're kind of a nightmare matchup. And they're men. They're really men.” -

Hopefully he gets some recognition on the All-Rookie team (if they have that?)

Yeah, according to my DirecTV guide that game was supposed to be on so I recorded it. When I went to watch it I found out I actually got Lions @ Eagles. "There are five real good recruits in the state. We got three of them. One couldn’t get into school, and the other went to (the University of) Iowa...which is about the same thing." - Coach Johnny Orr -
Re: Leonard Johnson
Leonard is probably the 5th corner in, he plays special teams mainly, but with Talib out he should get more time. He played some last week. I saw him in the preseason and he got a bunch of playing time. He should have a great shot to develop as a pro.

Re: Leonard Johnson
What I heard was that Bucs coach Greg Schiano, who was HC at Rutgers through last year, was favorably impressed with Leonard Johnson based on the Pinstripe Bowl experience. -
Re: Leonard Johnson
According to ProFootball Focus (pay site) He played 22 snaps in week 2 on defense out of 84 (6 run plays, 16 pass plays) and 4 snaps out of 70 last week (1 run and 3 pass plays). One pass thrown at his guy this year and he got credited for a pass defended. He ranks slight above average in pass defense and a little more slight below average on run defense. Special teams doesn't show # of snaps -but he has 3 missed tackles and 1 tackle and 1 penalty and is rated a little below average.
