I said B. Was between that and a B-, just because of the way we lost those games. But they were both good teams. But then again they were both within reach and at home. But we went undefeated in a decently tough non conference schedule. (And I keep fighting with myself on whether to feel good or not)
Considering we are 4-2 with our only 2 losses to the #4 and #18 teams in the country.
This. Also considering the only losses TCU and Tulsa have suffered this year (so far) came at the hands of the Cyclones. U of I would be in the same category if not for their inabilty to recover an onside kick.
B-. We're still on track for a bowl, but we let two huge opportunities slip away. I expected 7 wins or above this season and we may be able to get there. Win the next two and we're back up to B+ or A-.
I went B+ for the defense, some breakdowns from time to time and statistically in the middle of the conference. I'd give the Offense a D, statistically near the bottom or at the bottom in every major category.
Also, I expect more from the D just given our punting is ranked #2 in the conference.
