600 + yards....

The offense was awful today but let's put some perspective to it. That was probably the worst Defensive performance we've seen all year. No team is going to win many games when they give up 600+ yds. Our line got pushed around on both sides of the ball.

Not great but good enough to give us a chance. If you hold OSU to 31 you got a chance to win the game becuase thier defense is crap. Can't expect the defense to hold these teams to 6 points. Got to score 35 points to win B12 games. That is just reality. 600 yards is what OSU is averaging. That is what good offeneses do, they put up points and yards, and they have a good offense.

disagree, Okie State is the top offense in the country for a reason. Offense totally took all emotion/momentum from our D. We probably have the best D in the Big 12 (OU might be better). But we have the worst offense in the country, and by far the worst in Big 12. Giving the ball back to a prolific offense by going 3 and out over and over again will result in a loss for pretty much any college football team, outside of maybe Alabama. Okie State and other teams have had far to many possessions to try and score against our D, plus I think our team is very emotionally driven (playing the underdog role and with CPR as coach) and you lose that when the offense doesn't give us a prayer/hope.

When ALL of our offense drives end with 3 and outs or turnovers after the TD and FG first few drives, then YEAH the other team is gonna have a ton of yards

75:05 - 44:15 Time of possession in our last two games...Our D is gassed and it is completely the offense's fault for not having a pulse and getting a drive started (let alone sustaining them.) Our D didn't play great but Broomfield made a play to keep us in this game and the offense completely and utterly has LET THEM DOWN the last 2 games.

This D can't be expected to WIN games. Keep us close can be expected, but not with those odds/T.O.P. stacked against them. Even the greatest NFL defenses can't spend that much time on the field and expect to be successful.

The D couldnt get any semblance of a pass rush today and Walsh had all day to throw. The past 2 weeks the D has done a very poor job getting a stop on the opponents side of field after we pin them deep. It's mostly on the O, but the D is not getting themselves off the field quick enough.

When your offense is going three and out over and over you tend to give the opposition a lot of time with the football. Our defense is playing a game and a half every game because our offense can't stay on the field longer than4 downs.

A good defense holds a team to below their season average. We may have a good defense, but they did not play well today. I think we can fault the O for the TTech game. This was a game when both sides didn't have it.

Exactly, would be very frustrating to be on our defense

OSU had 600+ yards and in all honesty should have scored over 40 points. Not the best performance from the defense today but OSU is tough to contain. The offense is a huge concern.

So your saying the that the defense isnt allowed to get tired? How is a fair to expect this defense to constantly keep this offense in games if they cant score points than they have and help the cause?!

if i was on our offense i would go an apoligize to every defensive player for being such embarrasement. to the team. this offense has got to be the worst offense we have seen a while. we cant run the ball and we cant complete any passes. the offensive line cant open holes. running backs can pu any yards and recievers cant get any separation from anybody!!!!!!

Holding OSU to 31 points clearly gives us a chance to win the game. I agree that they are good but they don't work miracles. You can't just put them out on the field with no rest and continued deflation and expect them to do too much better. We did look terrible on 3rd down....

The defense wasn't perfect today. They gave up a huge play that was pretty bad, but that was after about 3 straight 3 and outs by the offense. They simply can't win games by themselves though. In the Big 12 you're going to give up some points with all the good offenses, our offense simply has to do better.

There is pretty much nothing at all that it can do well, no identity at all on offense. We want to run the spread but don't really have the personnel to do it against fast/athletic Big 12 defenses
