Tony Franklin's offense breaks NCAA record for single game offensive yards at 839
Idaho Vandals vs. Louisiana Tech Bulldogs - Box Score - October 20, 2012 - ESPN
Could have hired him. He is doing this with WAC quality recruits and dropping 50 points plus a game.

With 3 fumbles. Idaho isn't good.
I'm on Twitter too: Tre4ISU
Or so I have read. -

Yeah we could put up 50 points against those teams. Kansas state and okie state are a little different. We put up points on tulsa.
Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

Unfortunately, ISU couldn't even put up 50 points on WIU this year. Tony Franklin and LA Tech put up 50 in the first half against Idaho.

I don't do signatures. Blondes, brunettes, and red heads are a different story. -

I'll be curious to see them against Utah State who has been pretty salty this year.

Tom Herman had similar success at Rice and how did that pan out here?
Our whole offense is awful right now so there must be some blame placed on the person in charge of the whole offense. However, our guys aren't completed EASY plays that are there for the taking time and time again. In other words, the correct play is called but executed atrociously.

We need a new Offensive Coordinator for next season.

College is all about the quarterback and we havent had a good one since Meyer was a sophomore. You can insert offensive coordinator x or y or z but if you cant find a quarterback, good luck.

I would argue that it is Messingham's job to coach up the QBs to be playing better and making sure everyone on the offense is correcting their mistakes to better execute the plays. If he can't do that by the end of the season, Rhoads needs to ask questions.

Not the players.
If we don't have good enough talent, that's the coaches problem, not the players. If the talent is good enough, but they aren't executing, that's the coaches job to get them to execute. And if the talent we do have is not getting developed and getting better each year, that is also on the coaches.
How can Barnett and Jantz both be as bad or worse than they were last year if we're supposedly "developing" them?
Time for the coaching staff to stand up and take the blame for this offense. Bill Bleil... how come on play after play there is absolutely no holes to run through? Why does our QB have no protection whatsoever? Messingham.... why are we completely inept on offense? Why can't we even pick up a yard running the ball, yet you said we were going to be a run dominant team this year? And how come our QB's have regressed under you?
I think it's time for the media to stop lobbing softball questions at these guys. Put them on the spot and try to get some real answers. The record number of fans that are going to these games this year deserve to know why our offense continually is one of the worst in all of college football, don't they?

If Louisiana Tech can get the talent, I can't see how with our facilities, conference schedule & supportive fanbase, that we can't get the talent as well. This starts at the coaching.
