    National Title Question

If Alabama, Kansas State, and Notre Dame go undefeated who makes the national title game? I have my opinion but need input on your thoughts.

    Re: National Title Question

Oregon is more likely to go undefeated than ND. ND should get exposed by either OU or USC, both on road. Notre dame vs bama would be an awful game.

I think KSU would be ahead of Notre dame, but won't pass oregon if all undefeated..

Well that's kind of a dumb question... Just ask any hawkeye fan, they'll tell ya!

Put Oregon in the mix if you want but I most interested in the ND KSU argument.

    Re: National Title Question

Oregon and Alabama will both go over ND and KSU because they play an extra championship game. If it came down to ND and KSU undefeated to play Alabama I'm afraid it would be Notre Dame, even though Id rather it be KSU. It would be really really close in the BCS standings. Assuming ND was undefeated, they would have also won at OU and at USC.

I just don't see the BCS leaving Notre Dame out over a school like KSU, even though IMO KSU is a better team. Playoffs cant get here soon enough. ND won't go undefeated though and I think KSU has a great shot at going unbeaten, I would be more worried about Oregon as a KSU fan.

    Re: National Title Question

If Notre Dame happens to wins out, they'll be in the national title game. If everybody wins out, I think the BCS standings would go like this:

    1) Alabama/Florida winner
    2) Notre Dame
    3) Kansas St.
    4) Oregon

    Re: National Title Question

If Alabama and Kstate go undefeated they are going to the NC game.

If ND does it, sorry, but I'm not as impressed. Yeah they essentially won the big 10 championship, but the big 10 sucks. If kstate can get through a big xii round robin, they get in, no question.

    Re: National Title Question

K State was a one loss team, and ranked 6 or 7 last year and missed out on a BCS bowl, which is supposed to be the top 12 teams (or close to it).

K State has to go undefeated, and even then, I don't think they get invited...even though they should.

    Re: National Title Question

If the NCAA has anything to say about it, ND will be in.

Did anyone watch ND yesterday? Holy cow, BYU had no chance to win that game coming down the stretch. The fix was in. Every single good play BYU had was called back by a penalty. Just like the ND-Stanford game where Stanford won on the last play, but they didn't rule it that way.

I'm hoping OU and USC put the hammer down on this average ND team. ND has beaten up on the B1G so far, which is nothing to brag about at all.

    Re: National Title Question

You forget that if Oregon is to go undefeated, they will have had to beat USC twice (Pac12 Championship) and little brother oregon State is no slouch either

After getting ******* up by Cam Newton in 2010 (that championship can no longer be claimed by Auburn or Cheezdick; Cam was the only thing that won it for them), I could see the pollsters voting K-State #2 to help their BCS. K-State obviously has the tougher schedule, and they've absolutely destroyed 4 of the 7 teams they've played so far.

Stanford would have tied the game with a touchdown and extra point.
