Did Chizik pay the author to write that? That's the only reason I can think of for writing it.

I don't feel bad that he stinks at his job and I find it funny.
I used to read the Daily all of the time when I was in school. My son says he never does, finds it laughably poor quality. This story is about as silly as telling folks not to root against the Hawks.
Chizek is a sellout. He's set for life with all that money unless the wife is as high maintenance as she seems. He did do us a huge favor however by leaving for the money.
As I've told countless others on why I still root against him.
I don't blame him for leaving ISU for Auburn. Fact is, he was never going to be a long term coach, and he got offered a great coaching opportunity and went for it.
Why I root against him though is because how he handled the entire situation. He lied through smiling teeth saying he was "firmly entrenched" and left abruptly, and acted like he did nothing wrong the entire time. I try not to hold grudges, but I bleed cardinal and gold, and that **** doesn't fly with me.
Flew all the way back for a 45 second sendoff speech to his players and to deposit his check. Huge favor to JP so that we could hire a coach.Quote:
