Chris, what is the deal with Shontrelle? He started out the season with a 100 yard game and has seemed to not be able to get anything done since.

Level of competition (other than WIU) has been better in every game since Tulsa.
“It’s beyond pride. It’s a restored trust. There’s a confidence again, a passion that teeters on swagger. More than anything, (Iowa State head coach Paul Rhoads) has restored the Iowa State “it” factor, the steadfast belief that it is great to be a Cyclone...the man’s enthusiasm is genuine to the core...” – columnist Sean Keeler, Des Moines Register -

Tulsa 57

Otherwise you can make a pretty good case that this is true.

Otherwise you can make a pretty good case that this is true. Well since we are nit-picking, I don't see how Oklahoma State is greater than Kansas State.
Do you know why I put up with this 'pitiful job', Mr. Donaghy, why I fetch these folks' lunches and clean up their barfs? Cause they make television. And more then jazz, or musical theater, or morbid obesity, television is the true American artform. -

Baylor is superb at throwing the short pass. It should be a tackling derby.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

It worries me that the solution to beat us is so simple. Stop the run- we don't win. With the exception of the tcu game where we completed two long bombs for touchdowns. I'll call those statistical anomalies.

Neeley, Johnson, and White should be catching fifteen swing passes a game.

Velo- I meant that most the the defenses (other than WIU) have been better than Tulsa's defense. I am usually all about the rankings an such because they take the human perspective out. Also if you would have looked at Iowa's ranking before the PSU disaster my guess is it would have had Iowa ahead of Tulsa (not saying this is right or wrong just a statement).
Either way IMO the struggles that our offense has had seem to have manifested into a lack of confidence and a loss of identity. Some is playcalling, some is we faced some talented DL's and other is just what seems a lack of fire to wanna kick somebody's *** on any given play.

I really think the oline really needs to play with passion on Saturday.
Losing at home twice is not a good start. Two more losses would be devastating would mean that we would play better on the road at that point.

Mr. Williams is always spot-on with his Extra Points. Sure wish I could say the same for our football team.
