Some thoughts on the matchup:

Kansas tends to score only 2/3 of their opponent's average and has only scored at their opponent's average once (Tech) and above it once (Northern Illinois). Kansas has only broken the magic "24" once this season. Last week against Tech.
Iowa State tends to only allow 2/3 of their opponent's average and not a single opponent has scored at or above their season average against us

Iowa State tends to score about a field goal below their opponent's average
Opponents of Kansas tend to score about five points below their average.

Kansas tends to rush for 25% more yards than their opponents usually give up.
Iowa State tends to hold their opponents to 10% below when they normally give up.

Kansas tends to pass for only around 60% of their opponent's average, and has been held to 39, 96, and 29 passing yards in their last three games
Iowa State is weak against the pass, giving up 12% more yards through the air than their opponents usually gain. Both Oklahoma and Texas passed for about 100 yards over their average.

Iowa State tends to rush for only about 80% of their opponent's average.
Kansas tends to give up about their opponent's average rushing yards.

Iowa State tends to pass for about 90% of their opponent's average
Kansas tends to give up about their opponent's average passing yards.

That KU-ISU score is almost exactly what I would think. Hope it happens. God, to think we might need 3 FG's is troubling, though. Would rather see 24-13, with 3 TD. (Maybe the 23 is a missed XP, lol).

I only saw pieces of the OT game against Tech. But, wow, Tech came into ISU and shut us down. How did they allow KU to rush for almost 400 yards? Didn't they try this approach of stacking the box?

I would guess close to that for the ISU game. I'm a little surprised at the TT-OSU game. TT is a surprising team anyways

Tech is falling apart right now so I be pretty surprised if it actually ends up being that close.

It's a shame that Baylor's defense will keep an excellent offense home for bowl season. That offense deserves the extra game, and I'd love to watch it again.

KU has 10x the rush offense we have...going to miss Jake this week!
