Re: KXNO this morning?
The fact someone like Jake wont just come out and say it's BS is enough to make me worried to be honest.

Because no people in the media ever make deals with news sources in order to get special access, privileges, or exclusive interviews. The line between news and marketing is getting very blurry.

If the doctors screwed up the first time then this reminds me of Wes Johnson a little bit

Even if this were the case, which it is not, they cant grant the same access to every single media source in Central Iowa, and they wouldn't do such a thing just to hide the rumor from getting out 2 days sooner.

Then, what is your explanation of the silence? It is the most important story of the season, but not a peep in the media. It seems clear that the coaches don't want it getting attention. It almost makes me wish that we weren't even talking about it.

My bet on Baylor based on Knott's absence is looking stronger. I hope whomever replaces him kicks *** and I lose.

Not talking about it wont make it go away. Too late to prep for his loss now so hiding it any further is pointless.

Re: KXNO this morning?
Remember, this is the same media that went knocking on apartment doors recently for an injury story...

Even the school to the East (who absolutely would hide an injury) couldn't get away with hiding injuries from the media. News orgs like WHO, KCCI, DMReg, etc are big enough that ISU can't really shut them out.
