Just heard from my source who was on Mac's staff back in the day and is still in touch with the program that Knott's season is over...hopefully the team rallies behind him and takes care of business on his behalf...best of luck in the future Jake!!

Heard this yesterday morning from someone who knows someone was surprised and optimistic to see no thread. Wasn't going to be the doosh to ask/start a thread of course.
Likely true and awful news for us and one of the best players in America. AJ looked sad when I saw him Monday outside the Jacobsen building.
Update from my previous post...my source said Knott saw 2 doctors this week and both told him surgery was needed.
From what I gather the injury he was playing through all last year was re-aggravated and is worse now...just my 2 cents...dang...wish it weren't true.
Looks like it may be true.....
Thanks Jake for the memories over the last few years! (if true).

While he did live in Waukee, I believe his family moved to Kansas or Missouri after he started at ISU (hence why his brother was playing down there for High School. It is possible that his family moved again?
