Has anyone been to a KU football game before? Is scalping tickets at the stadium a good idea? I would think so since they don't sell their stadium out.
My wife and I are planning on going with another couple (and meeting up with some friends who are on the CF charter bus) and we're just going to either scalp, or buy at the gate. There's no way in hell that game will even approach sell out status.
In 1984, I was hospitalized for approaching perfection.
I'm thinking about coming down with the gf as well and was thinking scalping or buy at the gate. Hell, based on past attendance I thought maybe they'd pay me to fill a couple of seats.

That's exactly what I was thinking.
I was also wondering if we could just scalp tickets and go sit in the ISU section where it was empty. I've never been to a KU game so I don't really know how they are with that stuff.

At both TCU and UT, we just walked into the ISU section without having tickets there. Since they aren't coveted seats, and we're obviously supporting the visiting team, the ticket people never seem to even notice.
I would bet that KU will be MUCH more relaxed.

I have been to several KU games and have scalped for everyone of them. Tickets right now on Stubhub in some KU sections are even at like $11. By gameday, these tickets will be next to given away. I have been to at least 4 games there in Lawrence and never paid more than $15. The sections for ISU in the past are like 23-25 and not too hard to sneak into or even buy tickets directly from the scalpers. Stubhub last I saw had tickets in the ISU section like row 14 for $24 I think.

Planning on going to the game with wife and a couple of our friends. It is our pre-tailgate / game before Chiefs and Bengals on Sunday. Would we be okay scalping or should we hit up stubhub ($12/ticket plus whatever they charge per ticket?) for the KU tickets?
What is tailgating like there? Spread out or close to stadium? Where do the Clone fans tailgate?
baylor fan here.. i made the trip to lawrence last year and some guy just handed me 2 tickets and people were selling them every where for cheap prices. I would think you would be ok
