Well this isvawfully sad. Jake has been a joy to watch and it sucks we may not see him again. It almost makes the game irrelevant.

I don't feel it's the media's job to not report these facts (assuming it's true, and one report that a player won't play tomorrow will have no effect on Knott's NFL career. If he doesn't play tomorrow, the story being broken on Friday is a non-factor. If he does, the Daily is just wrong.

Not seeing how this small story results in less money for Knott in April. It's easy to hate on the Daily for a lot of legitimate reasons but I don't think this is one.

I don't disagree with what you are saying at all, but that is not how the media works. Its an arm race to be the first one to break any story. The media spares no one to achieve that title.

But wait we have to be doom and gloom. If he is out, the team has known this all week. We will be prepared. Klein pretty much played a one man band last season after Knott's injury, he will do it again. Only now George is more improved and so is our defensive line and secondary.
