Having him out is huge, don't get me wrong, but Baylor has no idea what Iowa State is planning on doing to make up for the loss. When it comes down to it, it's up to the players on the field.

I don't think anyone is trying to argue the importance of that, but I don't think media members in DSM are avoiding this story because they are concerned it will give Baylor the edge. Thats just not how the media works.

Re: Iowa State Daily: Knott Out Saturday
I can't wait to see Jevohn Miller in action. It sucks to lose Knott, but I think this kid is the second-coming of Knott. Below are their HS stats, which one is which? High School Started all 11 games at XXX and was awarded first-team all-state honors … as a senior he recorded a team-best 121 tackles, 23 for loss and recovered four fumbles … he also took a fumble and interception back for a touchdown … on offense, he ran for 840 yards and 11 touchdowns on only 85 carries … made 10 receptions for 219 yards and one touchdown. High School Ninth-ranked prospect in Iowa ... named to the elite all-state team and was Class 4A first-team all-state by The Des Moines Register ... recorded 99 tackles with seven tackles for loss, three sacks and two interceptions as a senior ... played receiver on offense, catching 37 passes for 844 yards and five touchdowns ... I know, you can't compare JM to JK, but JK was special at JM's age, and JM has got to learn from JK for over a year. Sure there will be a drop off, but hopefully we will have our future stud on the field Saturday.

Ironic, isn't it?
Newspaper people go to jail to protect their secret sources . . . in order to expose the privacy of others.

People who think Baylor didn't already know this are naive.

I don't do signatures. Blondes, brunettes, and red heads are a different story. -
