    Honest question:

does jake have to do the combine? Will his numbers move him up the draft board?

Quit speculating and let Jake decide when he is done, you're all being like the idiotic daily writer that published an article saying that he was out for the game tonight.

Anyone who doesn't think Knott does not want to face the Sooners knows nothing about what this guy is all about.

Re: *** OFFICIAL THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES JK20 THREAD ***

There were a couple times Knott knew it wouldnt take much to take a guy down and he just did it with his right side of his body instead of going with an all-out hit, probably because he was playing it safe.

I hope Knott wakes up tomorrow and his shoulder is completely healed and he's ready to go. But it's like Royce White. Don't want them to go but it's whats best for the individual.

Picture Paul Rhoads style football and you got Jake Knott. Hopefully he has a successful career in the NFL (for the Dolphins) and comes back and does work for Iowa State when he retires.

Think about it. Not hard to figure out.

Jake could have the needed surgery after the season, play okay at times with 50% usage of his arm, and miss the combine (and hurt his draft position). Or he could have the surgery, end the season early, and get ready for the draft.

It has been rumored for the past few days that they would see how effective he could be with the injury. If he was not at all himself, or felt like he was doing more damage, it is likely Baylor would be his last game.

No doubt Jake can play through more than anyone, but it is still logical to assume, that there is a limit to what even Jake can play through. Maybe that is more than Baylor, maybe not.

Anyone who thinks Jake Knott is playing another game as a Cyclone didn't watch him come off the field after the pick.

He is done folks. One of the greater Cyclones of all time. My favorite player

I was incredibly happy to see him take the field today and I was just as happy to see him head over to Wally after the game. I don't know what will happen from here, but I do know that Jake will always be one of my favorite Cyclones. I would love to be able to cheer for him in cardinal and gold one more time.
