Is "hot hand" the buzzword for this month?
Life is not fair, either. Please do not discuss anything to do with Cyclone Football as "fair", we all know better.
Including the end of the Okie State game, when we needed a quarterback to come in and help the team after a dismal, prolonged effort by a qb, with a "cold hand" we have sucked even worse. Think Jantz coming in the Pin stripe bowl....he was definitely not "hot handed" then.
This team should play two quarterbacks for several reasons.....but mostly to win the next game now. You overstate the hot hand theory. Are you the same Clonedude who voted for Jimmy Carter?
Please list some of those "several reasons"

Not exactly related to the game but I'd love an explination how WVU is still ranked? Big 12 wins over Baylor and a very mediocre Texas team and a pair of blowout losses isn't exactly an impressive resume.
In reply to dirtyninety, I don't think you ever remove a quarterback who has it going with someone who has been struggling recently. I know both quarterbacks have some issues but when Steele Jantz has it going I think he usually continues even though there could be a turnover.
UG.....What is wrong with sharing series with another quarterback......absolutely nothing wrong with having Barnett get snaps. What is wrong with you people? You think suddenly Jantz is going to take every snap the next 4 or 5 games? We do not have Cam Newton and we will/do need two quarterbacks. The problem with our coaching staff is there have been too many games in the last two years or more where they have close-mindedly said...."this is our guy, and we are sticking to it this game." Lord, what X-box video game world are you living in? Barnett has beaten Okie State and TCU and Texas TEch and would have beaten Rutgers if he stayed healthy. We have two fine quarterbacks--not great, but fine if they work--and we need both to keep getting snaps. Sometimes and some games they work, some they don't. I do not remember the last 77-0 game that ISU won where the starting quarterback led the offense to a touchdown every series. How can you judge the impact that Barnett series had psychologically to Baylor's coaching box....were they distracted? were they shuffling papers and opening electronic files on their laptops trying to adjust thier defensive calls? Was that mental effort contributory to more of Jantz's success and the moral of Baylor?
Both quarterbacks should get snaps in the 1st half against OU. no brainer.
LOL, he was getting his *** handed to him in that game
