Re: Jake Knott is out for the season
After Jake's NFL career, I'd love to see him come back as an assistant coach in some capacity.

Re: Jake Knott is out for the season
I remember playing against you in high school Jake, and we never had an answer for you and I never could believe you weren't being recruited. So happy to see you have the career you did at Iowa State despite all the injuries you endured. Completely healthy linebackers couldn't even put up the stats you did, the heart you had on the field, or the leadership you displayed during your time here. You'll go down as one of the greatest cyclones ever, and you've brought so much joy to this fan base not only for the type of player you are on the field, but for the selfless, motivated, hardworking person you are off the field. Thanks for the memories, get better soon

Sorry for the stupid question. Is it the same shoulder that was hurt last year? I am assuming it was.

What can Cyclone Fanatics do for Jake to acknowledge him on Wednesday?

Assuming he will come out for the coin toss and there will be an ovation that the pretty boy Sooners just won't understand.

Re: Jake Knott is out for the season
what a kid. Sad to see him go but it says something that in his last game, injured, he still gets Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week. Big shoes to fill!
Best wishes for a speedy recovery and a long career playing on Sundays!

Truly a hard-working individual. I sure hope his replacement soaked in everything he could, learning from Jake.
Thanks for being a part of our (football) lives! Best wishes to you in the NFL!

Cyclones for life! George, Miller, and the rest of the LBers will need Jakes coaching the rest of the season and I know he will give them everything he has and vice versa.
