Re: Andrew Billings
I'm not saying we should have recruited this kid but we have at least two guys from the last class likely to move into his position. Perhaps the staff felt their were higher needs. Also, maybe he didn't seem all that interested to the coaches.
I'm on Twitter too: Tre4ISU
Or so I have read. -
Re: Andrew Billings
Just looking at this kids offer list, somehow I don't think Rhoads has overlooked this kid. There are numerous reasons why a coaching staff would stop contacting a recruit.
I think if this kid truely "would have been a Cyclone months ago", he'd be on the committment list.

Come on, that is a stretch considering we just got a DL commit.

Everything I hear from coaches is that most message board fans have no clue what they are even talking about. And this includes the numerous idiots on here.
H.U.C.A.C-- We're here to ____ ____ up! -
Re: Andrew Billings
There can only be 4 reasons why we aren't interested.
1. To many stars
2. His father has made it public that Iowa State isn't at the top of his sons list: Decision on hold for Andrew Billings - Texas Longhorns Blog - ESPN
3. He isn't all in, just half in.
4. Paul Rhoads doesn't like the name Andrew.

How many times have we seen guys without offers from School A tell everyone that School A is in their top five. If this kid was really wanting to come to ISU, someone, somewhere, would know about it.

It's not that Rhoads won't have them on the roster, it's that he makes them change their names if they see the field.
You don't think Steele is his real name, do you?

Re: Andrew Billings
I was simply wondering if had heard anything from the staff's point of view. Next time I won't even post anything. Btw, if im so full of it, why was I talking to Salubi before the game? He's a Waco High guy. Just like Hubert from K-state was before he transferred to Midway. We do have Cyclones that work as high school athletic trainers all over the country you know.

Instead of posting, how about you let the coaching staff or CWilliams know and maybe something can get accomplished.

Re: Andrew Billings
I'm with Cydude 16, I highly doubt CPR actually enjoys getting emails from idiot fans in some 8-man po-dunk town that think because their starting QB scored 4 TDs last week against Clarksville that they are a D1 recruit.
Maybe emais from a coach, or AD, or someone with some proven football knowledge, but not random fans.
