A friend of mine talked to Andrew's father during the game Saturday night. It's down to Baylor and Texas. This kid and his family are seriously interested in ISU. He wants to be an engineer. Why are we not recruiting this kid hard. He would have been a Cyclone months ago if we would show some interest.

Well it may not hurt to call him in the last two months. There are two ISU grads that are on the Waco High training staff. I posted this two months ago. We could have had this guy. I guess we must have better prospects we are looking at.

Best way is to contact Coach Rhoads, and I am being serious, I know a couple others have done so in the past and it has worked.

there might be other reasons that our coaches have decided to back off. You heard one side of the story, not both.

I don't know anything, but I would say that it is best not to jump to conclusions without the entire story

Would be the top prospect in the class at a position we have serious issues recruiting. i would find it hard to believe if he was interested and the coaching staff knew, that we wouldn't stay in contact. I call this story either BS or the coaching staff has no idea about OP's story.

Not too mention it says the kid maxes out on bench at 470# and squat at 700#. I get that he weighs in at 305#, but that's moving some serious iron for a high school senior.
