Stars and offers simply aren't the end all/see all definition of a player's potential. Personally, I'd say that CPR and his staff have a prven track record for player evaluation.

no but its a pretty god damn good barometer of where a program is at. Put it this way, Alabama and USC and the like don't recruit two star kids.

God you need to be a hawk fan. You come into all these topics acting like all knowledge originates in your head, therfore you are right all the time, no questions or supporting evidence necessary. The statement was obviously exagerrated, but I think the better statement is USC and the like don't have to settle for third or fourth options as often as an ISU. Shawn Curtis is a first choice for many teams, and these are the recruits ISU needs to get. Our first options.

And although Curtis has maintained all five programs being equal it sounds like the Cyclones could be considered the favorite going into the final trip.
