Well, at least this post was in the in-state... Oh, wait.

Stop the big brother thing. ISU has beat Iowa more during the Kirk Ferentz era than Iowa beating ISU.

Typically Iowa not making a bowl game isn't something I expect to see, but since they are teetering on the edge of not making it this year(especially if they lose to Indiana) I actually hope they don't.
With the turnover on the Cyclones senior heavy roster, I think it would be a very good thing for experience and reps if ISU could get those extra 15 bowl game practices, and Iowa does not. Especially since Iowa is going to start an unproven QB in his 1st road start at JTS(barring something happening the rest of the way).
For the record i think Iowa splits their last 4 and makes it in.

Re: Will "BIG BROTHER" get to 6 this season???
well, we should care
their success has an impact on in-state recruiting, number of on-the-fence fans between ISU and Iowa and I'd have to imagine ticket sales. In years past, when we beat iowa, attendance numbers go up.
I would enjoy seeing them finish the year 5-7

If Iowa loses tomorrow, all h*ll will break loose in Hawkeye Nation. They pretty much won't be going bowling if they lose tomorrow. I hope it happens... should be fun to watch.

Re: Will "BIG BROTHER" get to 6 this season???
I hate Iowa more than anyone, but they will beat Indiana and Purdue. And most likely Michigan (they are really overrated and not good)

Over here in Eastern Iowa, the few fans that remain have already gave up on their team. EICC has a very soft schedule for them the next few games so Indiana is huge for them. I guess 5-7.
