Why didn't we just hold or tackle their receiver. With so little time the penalties wouldn't hurt much. Never give up more 15 yards.

14-6. That's the difference between a team whose offense scores touchdowns and one whose offense settles for field goals. Come on offense, let's get in the end zone!

Our defensive backs catch the ball better than our recievers.
Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

Just saw a replay, why the heck didn't we just tackle the WR? Give 15 yards instead of a 25 yard TD. Who knows, they had 1 TO and clock might of run out. That was a huge huge blow after momentum was totally on our side the last 6-7 minutes of that half

Re: *** Official ISU vs. Oklahoma Gameday Thread ***
Cliff stokes hasn't been too bad today. Givens is the man!! Offense needs to get it going. Less than 100 yds while oklahomo is well over 300. We should be getting stomped right now. That last oklahoma drive was pathetic on our part, but I expected it to happen. F*** getting a moral victory. We want a real win. Oklahoma let us stay in it so let's take advantage

I don't do signatures. Blondes, brunettes, and red heads are a different story. -

I would like to seem ISU recruit more athelete/tall quarterback types to convert to corners.....a tenth or two of dash speed does not matter as much as gamer speed and game intelligence

Not sure why we weren't three deep on that, but the one thing I know for sure about a Paul Rhoads team- one play never beats them. I expect this to continue to be a good game down to the end, if our offense can get out of its own way.

As long as we can keep it close we have a chance. The pass play on 3rd down hurt us... we needed to run the clock down...

If we can't find a run game this is going to get away from us quickly..... Can't keep our D out there this long. They will eventually wear down.

These WR's need to convert these plays. Stokes is having a tough time today too. Also, need to rush a bit more and throw Laundry off.
