Bend don't break works against Iowa. Not teams with an offensive pulse like OU and Okie State. These teams make it to the red zone to often to no break. Sure they don't break sometimes but you can't hold these offensive teams out of the endzone very long. We need to stop them in there tracks and get a few 3 and outs. Maybe we just don't have the athletes to do that.
Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

It's the same thing every ******* play. Rush 4 drop 7. The only decision Landry Jones has to make is "do I throw to wide-open receiver A or do I throw to wide-open receiver B?" I'd much rather see a blitz... JUST ONE ******* TIME... so that Landry Jones has to decide "do I have time to get this throw off before red #52 takes my head off?"
Now THIS sounds like the old complaint against the Iowa defense and Norm Parker. ISU gives up less than 20 ppg in the BIG TWELVE. The defense ain't the ******* problem.

Jantz looks like he's been coached to try to get upfield in a hurry on the zone read. He's much more effective when he does that rather than try to make a couple of cuts.
