Not only that, but playcalling from your 1 and playcalling from your 20 are drastically different.

I didn't like the refs' call. I did like our somewhat aggressive playcalling to try and move the ball. I'm just not really convinced that the receivers would have been good for it.

No.... usually we run down on the goal line- this time we passed the ball.

This year (and hell maybe every year) I feel like the big 12 zebras give Iowa State the same treatment as a nonconf foe would get playing against a big 12 team. Just ridiculous that it seems even worse at home. I know fans get on the refs everywhere if they miss a call in the home teams favor but I have heard more booing this year at JTS directed at the refs than I can ever remember. I know we didn't play well enough to win but a few calls here or there certainly wouldn't have hurt.

People here are ridiculous. So every call goes against Iowa State and every call goes for the other team? Your fandom is getting in the way of logical thinking.

Guess I'm in the minority and thought that it could have gone either way. 6 inches? Please. It was a very close call, and whatever the officials on the field called would have stood. The line judge was right on top of it.

I know I'm biased, but I know what I saw.

I was standing on the goal line in the student section and there is no doubt in my mind that the punt landed on the goal line.

I was in the front row - literally right where the play was for the student section.

Here's what I saw:

As soon as the ball landed, a part of the goal line disappeared.
