Regular Season Finale for Citrus Hill Hawks (Ca.) and Qb Trevor Hodge
Last Friday night was the final regular season game for Trevor Hodge and the Citrus Hill Hawks. They finished their regular season with a record of 10-0. Linked is the film of this game. Trevor Hodge wears dark jersey #2. Statistically, he had a pretty good night. Hodge was 17 of 22, for 272 yards, and 4 TDs. He also rushed 15 times for 210 yards. Citrus Hill hosts the first round of the playoff game next Friday night. Citrus Hill Hawks VS West Valley Mustangs - Hawk Football 2012 - Game 10 - YouTube -

Sounds like a great athlete! I forget about him since he was an early commitment. It's amazing that none of the PAC 12 schools have't tried to recruit him more. Can't wait to see him in a Cyclone uniform.

Very impressive since this is all from one game. He looked like a man playing with boys.

Thanks for posting.
He looks like quite a good athlete, which you can never have too many of on your football team. Obviously not enough film to judge him as a QB, but from the little I did see, I'd say QB isn't in his future at ISU. But I could be dead wrong.
He has great moves with the ball though, so I'd like to see him on offense if possible?

If he can catch, looks like he could make a good WR.

Probably take a few practices to beat the "go hawks" out of him - then we can start pumping him for the Heisman.

Hodge is the first "spread" QB that we have recruited since Barnett (IMO). (Might be semantics on my part; but, I look at both Richardson and Rohach as being very mobile pro style QBs.) I have watched enough video of Hodge to say that it appears to me that his strength is the short and intermediate passing game and the read - run option game. He has reported 4.5 speed and it would appear that that is likely legit. Second. Fortunately (or unfortunately) Hodge seems to be intensely competitve. He is a good student (GPA wise) and likes to spend time watching film and working on improving both his footwork and throwing mechanics (according to articles quoting his coach).
I guess what I (personally) like about Trevor Hodge is that he brings some different skill sets to the QB position than what Richardson, Rohach, and Lanning do.
