anyway, kline is a very patient runner behind an outstanding line. if people think this team will sink to the mid-pack next year, well, it's pretty typical before-the-fact thinking. that's all i got to say about that. For KSU to finish higher than middle of the pack, your incoming JUCOs pretty much have to all pan out. You lose (at this point) 65% of your tackles, and 11 of your top 15 tacklers. That includes entire starting DL + 1 backup, 4 linebackers, both starting corners and both strong safeties. That's a lot of production to replace for the top recruiters, let alone Kansas State.
With Snyder's history, I wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibility, but I think it's rather unlikely. This Big 12 is a lot tougher than in the past when Snyder could plug in JUCOs at key positions and keep on winning. But I don't think they'll be next year's Baylor, either. Probably more like Oklahoma State or Texas Tech.
