Is that possible... 60 yards of O in the second half?

There is no need for a meltdown here. Disappointment, yes. But a stomping forces a team to learn sometimes (public executions serve a purpose?). It's time for the coaches to figure out what's going on, and it's time for the kids to listen and learn. If we have good players, like I think we do, this loss will burn; badly.

Texas scores 7 points below their average, but they held ISU to 25 points below what they normally give up.
This one is WAY more on ISU's offense than it is on our defense.

This one is WAY more on ISU's offense than it is on our defense. I don't see the point in differentiating. The offense and defense both failed today.
This game stunk in every way. Now we heal our wounds and get ready for next week.

Well at least iowa lost. Doesn't erase the shittiness of our game, but a win from them would just pile on to it.

Re start the qb controversy. SJ has been off target for six quarters now.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

Re: *** Official ISU vs. Texas Gameday Thread ***
Does anybody even want to go to a bowl game? Could you imagine another well coached team going up against this offense with a month to prepare? we would spend a month practicing zone/read and you would see the same &^%t you saw today.
I do hope we right the ship.....but I do not know what our coaches do all week anymore. Jantz should be a gimmick qb brought in a few downs a game.....like tebow. Inexcusable to not get another qb snaps today....for training, morale, etc......

This one is WAY more on ISU's offense than it is on our defense. I agree. If you hold someone to low thirties in the Big 12, you expect to be in the game.

It's a simple formula:
Opposing D has poor athletes, start Steele
Opposing D has good athletes, start JB

And you know what, if they fired him and it takes $20 mil out of their budget\donors pockets that they cant use on other things, i'd be fine with that as well.

Iowa snatched defeat from the jaws of victory again. I lol'd. Thanks, Iowa, I needed that.
