If I were KU an WV I would blitz all day.

Today the defenders had their hands up and SJ threw errant passes over the top. It looks like his ball velocity is down from two weeks ago.Sometimes when he rolls out, he is alone and he can set his feet and wing the ball. Instead, he tries toi thriow it on the run always. He needs to slow down and make the good thrws.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

In the context of having seneca or sage come in to coach qb's, it'd seem like sage would have a leg up. He didn't have a super strong arm, but was accurate, and didn't rely on superb scrambling and arm strength to make plays, he made good decisions and good accurate throws.

Too often they blow assignments when pressure comes, and a guy will come through untouched with a lineman available to have blocked him.

No reason not the blitz the hell out of us every play.

Re: I really hope coach PR will make some changes.
Hard to know if any of our former QB's would be a good fit for coaching at ISU. However, there is little doubt of SW's unreal athletic ability. Sage may have been more of a prototypical NFL QB, but he was never anywhere as physically talented as SW.
My only concern about SW as a coach would be there is no way he could coach his athletic ability. He's obviously deeper than that, and the staff would be the best judge of his coaching ability. I think getting ISU people to be a successful part of ISU's staff would be huge. We are a program due to finances and location that must have people that are tied to the U. There will always be more money and easier places to recruit to for coaches at ISU to move. Having a 'heart tie' to ISU is critical to keeping these guys long term. So I'd be open to ANY former players or even Iowans.

When they bring the house there should obviously be a hot route at least, the guys I see getting beat are our tackles though.
