It's like some of you are trying to say that Iowa losing in conference is more important or prefered to us winning in our conference.
It's just some jabbing at the kids down the road, it doesnt mean ****.
You sir get it.
Re: At least the Hawks lost
It goes both ways - Most hawk fans enjoy us losing games. You're fooling yourself or believing their crap if you think otherwise.

Sure some do, but nowhere close to the amount of ISU fans that cheer against Iowa. I've been in Kinnick when they've shown ISU scores when they've won and the crowd cheers. The Texas upset back in 2010 got a pretty big cheer, think that ever happens in Jack Trice? I don't think so.
Re: At least the Hawks lost
If the Hawks lost and it helps you then go ahead and use it. The only time it would help me is if it was a conference foe and it helped as far as the standings go. I'm just voicing my opinion and I'm not trying to flame but if you've followed Iowa at all this year a loss it to be expected. That being said you should be getting some more happy feelings when Iowa gets Bit** slapped the next two weeks against Michigan and Nebraska.

No and it shouldn't.

As they say around here, this...kind of. Iowa fans may have been more inclined to cheer against UT in that they think Iowa is actually on the same level as Texas.
The only time ISU fans may cheer for Iowa is if they were beating Nebraska or something.
Re: At least the Hawks lost
Lots of Hawkeye fans going to have a cold christmas in Iowa this year. Good riddance.
Re: At least the Hawks lost
Flipped the game over to the Iowa game after we lost. First thing I heard from the announcer was that Purdue hasn't won at Iowa in 20 years. Next thing I saw, was Iowa lose. Brought a smile to my face that I definitely needed at the time. Thank you Iowa.

I get more joy out of Auburn getting it's *** handed to them at home than Iowa losing.

While I do find it humorous the Chiz getting it handed to him again Iowa trumps it all for me. Nebby used to hold that card but they decided to tuck their tail and run.

Agree! I know some hawk fans are happy when ISU loses, but still feel a majority enjoy a clones win or just don't care either way. I always pull for clones. Get tired of some clone fans stupid statements, but also get tired of some hawk fans.

I get it--I grew up in Eastern Iowa during the Fry years, so I remember how annoying it was as an ISU fan. But, that was during the Fry years. Hoping for them to lose now, IMO, is a sign that ISU football hasn't gained all that much in what they can hang their hat on. That's a very disappointing thought, especially for a season like this when there was some potential for actual improvement.
Judging any ISU gains by how much individual posters hate Iowa is just gonna give bad results.

If this is referring to Iowa not going to a bowl, just remember that we are in no means guaranteed a bowl appearance this year, either.

Ya at this point I don't see us going anywhere
