Poll voters must watch a lot of ESPN, because if there's one thing ESPN does well, it's pimp the SEC and Bama. Never thought I'd see the day college football became as corrupt and convoluted as boxing, but it's almost there. at home too

But, I would be shocked if it happened.

Texas is hot. K-State could have their hands full.

The game will be probably played in the cold at night in Manhattan.
Advantage: Bill Snyder.

Kstate is going to get screwed, if everything plays out. ESPN wants a Oregon vs ND title game, they are pushing for that.

Re: Oregon #1 in AP
Last year Alabama or LSU didn't have to play the Big 12 champ to win the national title, so a turnabout would be fine with me. Yesterday #1 Bama couldn't cut it at home against a high power offense one year removed from the Big 12. Who knows, A and M may have beat them last year too with Tannehill. Last year I think most of the country wanted to see a great SEC defense face a great Big 12 offense for the national title instead of the snoozer we got.

Every ESPN talking head hates ND except Mike Golic and Lou Holtz. They want KState and ND to lose so their beloved SEC team will be in the title game against Oregon. Herbstreit and Musberger didn't even talk about ND during their own game, they kept talking about Alabama and showing clips from that game.
Watched Oregon against Cal a while before I fell asleep. Their defense is truly atrocious. Can't believe they are number 1. Hoping for KState/Notre Dame just to annoy ESPN.

The only way I see that happening, assuming everyone wins out, is if ND absolutely destroys USC. K-State has largely blown every team they've played out of the water, whereas Notre Dame hasn't been nearly as dominant and has luckily squeaked by some pretty awful teams (Purdue, Pitt, BYU).
Assuming Oregon and Notre Dame are the only unbeaten teams at the end of the season, does anyone think that the BCS passes over Notre Dame in favor of a one-loss team? Say Alabama absolutely destroys UGA in the SEC title game...do they have any chance?

Re: Oregon #1 in AP
I have a feeling that they're all playing for the chance at the SEC champion, even if a couple of them don't lose. Voters will find a way to hose someone.
