The only thing that is "special" are the callers.

If it's like the games, it shouldn't be online. The CRN affiliates are supposed to shut down their live streaming for the games at least (not sure about other content). Free streaming stations online undercut the market for cyclones.tv. The good part, is cyclones.tv is always there.
I know it's $80, but I enjoy mine, especially since I can't make it to games.

Re: Anything special from last nights CPR Call in Show???
Listened to the call in show tonight via cyclones.tv through my Android phone. Love it. CPR mentioned he thinks our defense is playing its best season so far, opposing teams are respecting our defense. Coach believes the top three things the program needs to do to improve past 6 wins a season are to pass accurately, score more points and... i think stop the run (not in that order). Also he said the three positions for recruiting in terms of importance (and in order) are QB, DLine, CB. He thinks that Sam Richardson and Grant Rohach are both very accurate passers. He also has noticed that teams like to blitz against us approximately 10% more often then they do other opponents. It was a pretty good call in show tonight.
"I think that people are responding to someone standing up and saying this is what we want to do and let's not be afraid to go for it,'' Pollard said. "I think Iowa State has a very conservative, modest background. We never pound our chest and say `Let's do it.' It's OK to set a goal. You can't do it if you don't say what you want to do. You should be proud of it.''

I never thought it was that bad. I've learned quite a bit from them. I think its fair to say that every fan base has its share of stupid fans. Maybe they call into shows like this more often then the average fan idk. If you listen to CPR and John Walters its actually a pretty good show to watch or listen to.

Is Rhoads going "Moneyball/Sabermetric" on us? I hope so. People (head coach, OC, DC) have tendencies and a good statistician could help point out some holes in the opposing teams offense and defense.

Yeah, the "regulars" who call in every single week can be a little "overzealous" to put it nicely. Every fanbase with a call in show has them.
I focus most of my attention on John and CPR. They talk about a lot of good stuff during the show. And I agree, if you want to improve the quality of questions asked, then call in.

If I don't have anything else going on during the show I like to watch just to see the faces of Walters/Pollard/Rhoads as they react to the questions.

Did we get a Diamond Dave call telling CPR that he supports him 100%? What about Cyclone Jerry? Denny in Clear Lake update?
