I remember being so jacked up after this game. I was only 9 years old, but I think I waited outside all night for our copy of the Omaha World Herald to be delivered just to read them crying about it

I wasn't at ISU yet, but really wish I could have been there for that game. What a memory to have.

I was at ISU at the time. I still get chills thinking about the game.

The parties that night were unbelievable. KISS was playing in Hilton that night and my high-school-age brother along with two of his classmates were crashing at my place after attending the concert. Complete craziness and so much fun. Those boys had quite an experience compared to the small-town Iowa high school parties they were used to.
