You're getting misses with either quarterback. Jantz is going to have a breakdown of about 70/10/10/10 with respect to catchable/overthrown/underthrown/thrown away. Barnett is going to have a breakdown of about 50/10/30/10. Both are going to make stupid throws which are either going to be picked and leaving you scratching your head or dropped by a defender and still leaving you scratching your head.

Re: Starting QB
I still say the ball should have never been taken away from Barnett in the Rutgers game and he should have taken every snap so far this year.
That said, it'll be Jantz and I'm scared as heck of KU. Don't feel good about it at all.

some people thinking Rohach and Richardson are gonna come in and light up the Big 12 is ridiculous...if they were that good, why aren't they playing this year....no sense.
Come here to chew bubble gum and kick ***, have I. And all out of bubble gum, I am. -

Thanks! I am guessing that Jantz gets the start, but only gets one half. If he turns the ball over or shows his typical panic mode, Barnett will replace him. This is too big a game against a winnable foe to ride out poor performance and hope it improves.

Barnett got us a huge win in fort worth against tcu. He is a great qb.

Would anyone trade for Vandenburg?

We need to stomp them and get on them early. I agree with the post above, a Barnett start might be called for. He has performed well on the opening (scripted) drive, and I really believe we need to get on this team and demoralize KU early. Kick 'em in the teeth early, and get the win. You can't say 1-9 is a bad team. A record says nothing. They are a 1-9 team even...if not a notch better than ISU.

I'm not saying they can't or won't beat us, but how can you say they are a notch better given our records and common opponents?

If you lose every game 21-20....it's a hell of an effort. If you are 1-9 and lost all basketball games 89-88...that does not mean you are a bad team. All I am saying is.....DO NOT LOOK AT RECORDS. KU gave TECH a running last week....we did not. If Barnett was in...we could have.
