Re: BOWLING!!!
Is there anything better than a month of Cyclone football coverage in the state without Hawk coverage as their season ends!!!

Re: BOWLING!!!
Keep in mind a win next week and a loss by Tech to Baylor would put us in a tie for 5th. Obviously, a lot of possibilities yet...

Re: BOWLING!!!
Extreme long shot, but I am praying for a BWW bowl in Tempe. I'll already be their visiting my sister, a hawk fan. I'm confident I would get her to cheer for isu with me if they are playing in the same town she lives.

I don't care where we are playing

Meanwhile, somewhere in Lawrence, the two students who took advantage of Charlie Weis buying their game tickets are thinking to themselves, "Damn, I wasted half of a night of beer drinking for this?"

Re: BOWLING!!!
As long as both Kansas State & Oklahoma win out they will both be in a position to be in a BCS bowl game. One as the Big 12 automatic qualifier, the other as an at-large. That leaves us with this scenario: Cotton Bowl - Has first dibs and likely goes with Texas (second scenario they end up with Oklahoma State) Alamo Bowl - Next choice and chooses Big 12 #4 Oklahoma State (second scenario they take Texas) Wild Wings Bowl - Here is where things can get real interesting, but I see Texas Tech ending up here. Holiday Bowl - Also has several scenarios, but likely between West Virginia and Iowa State. ISU wins next week and this is our likely spot, we lose and Holiday officials would have to be convinced we would travel better. Car Care Bowl - If Iowa State is chosen for Holiday, I see TCU ending up here rather than WVU. Now, if Baylor can win another game they could also be placed here too. If WVU goes Holiday, then it becomes a real toss-up if they choose a local Texas team or go for Iowa State. Pinstripe Bowl - If WVU is chosen for Holiday, then you could see Iowa State back here although not likely. TCU could be chosen for the trip to NYC instead. Otherwise, if Iowa State goes Holiday than WVU is on their way to the Pinstripe. Dallas Bowl - Likely where TCU ends up, however if Baylor can pull off another upset than it will simply fall down to whoever hasn't been chosen up which could still end up being TCU. However, if Holiday goes with WVU and the Car Care decides they want a local Texas school (TCU or Baylor) than Iowa State could land here after Pinstripe passes beings we were there last year.
Does that cover all the bases? Easiest thing for Iowa State is to win next week and it's a pretty good lock for the Holiday!

Re: BOWLING!!!
Gonna be very tough for the Big 12 to get two at large BCS berths now. I wouldn't count on it.
Better root for SCar over Clemson and for Stanford or Oregon to lose another game otherwise ACC and PAC and SEC will take those slots + ND. Leaving Big 12, Big East, and Big 10 with one selection.

I don't do signatures. Blondes, brunettes, and red heads are a different story. -

Cap One...here we come! If you are serious the problem is the bowls the Big 10 will not fill are played against Big 12 team unless you want to go to Detroit and play a MAC school. This brings up another negative the Big 10 only has 5 bowl eligible teams right now so they may not be able to provide opponents for the Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas and the Heart of Dallas Bowl. I hate the possibility of playing none BCS teams in a bowl.
