A 1 loss Florida team that beat LSU may get a BCS at large before LSU unless you are predicting FSU beats Florida.
Stanford will have to beat UCLA twice in a row to get the Pac 12 BCS automatic bid which they probably can do I just find it interesting.
How does Texas Tech travel? Maybe I State can get picked ahead of them like we did with Mizzou a couple of years ago if the Big 12 only gets 1 BCS bowl.
Your prediction for the Cotton Bowl would be a fun one.

Better root for SCar over Clemson and for Stanford or Oregon to lose another game otherwise ACC and PAC and SEC will take those slots + ND. Leaving Big 12, Big East, and Big 10 with one selection. SEC Champion (Alabama or Georgia)
ACC Champion (FSU or Georgia Tech)
Big 10 Champion (Wisconsin or Nebraska/Michigan)
Big 12 Champion (KState, Oklahoma, Texas, or Oklahoma State)
Big East Champion (Rutgers, Louisville, Syracuse(?))
Pac-12 Champion (Stanford/Oregon or UCLA)
Notre Dame
Those are guarantees at this point. And there are 3 at large bids remaining.
SEC will get one of the at large bids. If Oregon does not make the Pac-12 Championship game (which is probable) the PAC-12 will get an at large bid. This leaves one bid available to the ACC, Big 10, Big 12, and Big East.
If Clemson beats South Carolina, I think they will get in ahead of Oklahoma. If Clemson loses, and Oklahoma wins out (and KState beats Texas to get the auto-bid), I believe Oklahoma would get in with 2 loses. (Plus Oklahoma is a big name and BCS Bowls only have to choose teams in the top 14, they don't have to choose the top teams (see 2011/12: #11 Virginia Tech vs #13 Michigan instead of #7 Boise State, #8 KState, or #12 Baylor))
A problem could arise out of the Big 10. If Wisconsin wins the auto-bid, and Nebraska is still in the top 14, would a BCS bowl pick a 3 loss Nebraska over Oklahoma?
There will be more clarity when the new BCS rankings come out. How far Oregon and KState fall, how far Stanford rises.

I won't do one — for some reason I don't do well w/ the bowl projections — I don't seem to grasp the process as well as basketball tournament projections.
You have a better knack for the bowl placements than I do. That makes me appreciate your work even more.
(I did a preseason bracket but I lapsed in posting it before season started. Still available and I'm sure spot-on accurate -

Your prediction for the Cotton Bowl would be a fun one. I saw the Clemson vs. South Carolina game...
I'm predicting South Carolina to beat Clemson, so Oklahoma will get the last at-large bid. If Clemson wins, my whole projections will need changed (literally almost half of it).
In the SEC, I have Alabama and LSU getting in the BCS Bowls...I also think Florida St. beats Florida. If Florida wins, they take LSU's spot and the SEC will need changed.
I think S Carolina will have to be taken there...Florida and S Car I suppose could be switched in my projections, but I think the Capital One Bowl would pick Florida over S Carolina. Also, South Carolina played in that bowl last year, so it would be tough to put them in the Cap One bowl again.
The Pac-12 will be interesting. Could affect ISU. I got Stanford winning the Pac-12 Championship with Oregon getting an at-large. UCLA is a pretty good team though so won't be easy.
If USC can beat Notre Dame, they will have enough wins to jump Oregon St. in the bowl order, meaning the Holiday Bowl would easily pick them over Oregon St. if available.
The Cotton Bowl is almost a given unless Texas beats KSU...then things get interesting.

There will be more clarity when the new BCS rankings come out. How far Oregon and KState fall, how far Stanford rises. Is Oregon St eliminated from the Pac 12 Champioship game? If Oregon St beats Oregon and Stanford loses to UCLA they all would have two conference loses and tie for the Pac 12 North tittle, not sure how tiebreaker works.

Three or More Teams: The following procedures will only be used to eliminate all but two teams, at which point the two-team tie-breaking procedure will be applied. 1.Head-to-head (best record in games among the tied teams). 2.Record in games played within the division. 3.Record against the next highest placed team in the division (based on record in all Conference games, both divisional and cross-divisional), proceeding through the division. 4.Record in common Conference games. 5.Highest BCS Ranking following the last weekend of regular-season games.

Re: BOWLING!!!
so Oregon would be eliminated because of going 0-2 vs the other two teams. Stanford beat Oregon St. so they get the nod.
