This settles it. Jantz can start on Senior Day March 6 vs. Oklahoma State.

You have to think we'll see him on senior day unless he really did get injured tonight. But will it be just one series or do we have to wait for the standard 'Jantz Turnover' first to honor him?

We won't see him at all unless Richardson gets injured or we get way ahead or fall way behind. Rhoads has not played seniors on senior day just so they can say they played in their last home game I don't believe.

Sam was great last night, but Steele was on his way to another Baylor game before being concussed. KU's defense is that bad.

Yeah, from listening to interviews it sounded like Jantz got hurt, and that was the reason SR came into the game.

What I find interesting is that Rhoads wouldn't tell the media that SR was the guy from here on out. Now I know there are reasons for that (other team gameplans, etc.) but part of me is afraid that if Jantz is good to go (health wise) he will be the starter on Friday.

This scares me and I wish I knew the answer NOW of who will be our starting QB for Friday.

I want SR!!!!!!!!!!!

I watched the game. I believe Sam earned the start next week. After his performance on the field, I don't see how another QB could start.

As far as fickle, I am very willing to give Sam the same latitude for mistakes that SJ and JB have been given by the coaches. He will have his mistakes. I saw a QB run the ISU offense more effectively than I have seen in a long time. ISU's offense actually looked dangerous last night.

Not quibbling with that at all, though I will point out that he often had time to fix a sandwich while he was in the pocket. Maybe a couple, and passed them around to his linemen--because Sam was sure eating KU's lunch.

Yep, Sam's performance was great, but there is no need to supplement that with stating JB or Steele would have had poor games.
